For the Gale Warning, northeast winds 35 knots with gusts up to 40 knots and waves 8 to 13 feet expected. * WHERE...The nearshore waters of Lake Erie from the the Islands to Willowick OH. * WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 AM EDT this morning. For the Gale Warning, from 8 AM this morning to 11 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
